These tragedies illustrate a dark truth: the punishment for the crime of a few was extended to entire nations.

Until that lesson is learned, the streets of Minnesota and Tehran will continue to echo each other, separated by continents but bound by the same unanswered question: who guards the people when power runs unchecked?
