Visit Anila Adnan’s captivating solo Exhibition ‘Solitude Expressions’.

Looking forward to have all my friends n art lovers to the fascinating world of Art at Nike Art Gallery,Abuja on 24th Feb 2024.

Anila Adnan is a Nigerian based Pakistani expressionist artist .Her work allow her to delve into the Nigerian surroundings where she has spent most of her life.Her paintings capture the day to day Nigerian life scenes and experiences.She is highly Inspired by nature and believe that nature is a gift of God to humanity.

She also work towards a sense of self-understanding and growth through her work,which portrays the human relationship with nature.She also paint occasional glimpses of her life resulting into a deeper connection to the subconscious .
Her imagination has always been an incredible driving force in her life and still does have an influence on almost everything she does. It has always been the most natural and easiest way to express herself.

She tend to explore meaningful connections between people and nature.She create bold, bright,high contrasts and daring pieces. Having lived in Nigeria from her childhood has inspired her in so many ways to create artworks that thrill others in the ‘Artworld’.

She will be showcasing Over 55 pieces of art works in her solo exhibition ..( 35 paintings and 20 art pieces of wooden coffee tables and benches.)

The exhibition will run for a month.starting from Saturday,24th feb 2024 to end of March.

Having solo exhibition at Nike Art Gallery was one of her biggest dreams that came true.Nike art gallery is not only one of the most renowned art galleries in Nigeria but also one of the biggest art galleries in the whole of west Africa. It is such a prestigious Art Body that it’s an honor on its own to exhibit there.
His Excellency, Mr Ambassador Mr Sohail Ahmed and his spouse will be inaugurating the event , along with the DA( Department of Airforce )Mr Kamran Mushtaq and his spouse .
