Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Friday resolved to address the myriad problems.

Expressing her thoughts in Lahore, Maryam said: “The PML-N will take care of its allies in a great way. We will have to pave the way for the development of Punjab.”

Meanwhile, she expressed her views in line with women’s empowerment, saying, “I had made it clear in my first speech that harassing women is my red line.” The report, which I see, mentions the rape cases daily.”

“Those women who extend support to the family are unsung heroes. I am having the wish that my successor should be a woman as well,” Maryam stated.

Maryam said: “The problems I have seen and faced will be discussed. Punjab has set an example by electing a woman as the chief minister.”

On the other side, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said: “Asif Ali Zardari will take care of everybody in a same way he takes care of me.”

Lashing out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) indirectly, Bhutto-Zardari said: “It is one specific political party that has divided society.”

The former foreign minister stressed the need for serving the underprivileged segment of society, saying, “It is the responsibility of everybody to serve the underprivileged segment of society.”

Felicitating Maryam Nawaz on becoming the Punjab chief minister, Bhutto-Zardari said: “I would like to felicitate Maryam Nawaz on becoming the chief minister. Maryam Nawaz has become the first woman chief minister.”
